Pandora Media Inc. (NYSE: P) may have released news that its listening hours rose by 16% in August. It also said that its total U.S. market share of all radio was 7.46%, an increase from 6.30% a year ago. And Pandora even showed that its active listener growth metrics were massive: Active listeners were 72.1 million at the end of August 2013, up 28% from a year ago. What Pandora Media did not include in its press release was that there is a massive wave of selling taking place this week and recently from insiders and management.
SEC filings have shown a very strong wave of insider selling this week, and we are not sure that the SEC filings are finished yet. When you see that Pandora’s stock price is still above $18, and when you consider that it was under $10 as recently as the start of 2013, a sensible investor might wonder if it is time to take some profits if management is taking profits.

The cable-television M&A chatter is making its rounds again, this time with Charter Communications, Inc. (NASDAQ:CHTR), Time Warner Cable Inc. (NYSE:TWC), and Comcast Corporation (NASDAQ:CMCSA) pegged as the three points of the ever-changing parties of a never-ending love triangle. The buzz is, well, was that CHTR was first in line to nab TWC. Today, however, it's starting to look like CMCSA is more seriously interested in Time Warner Cable than first thought. TWC shares jumped on the doubly-good news that it may well become the prize in a bidding war between Charter Communications and Comcast Corporation. Meanwhile, CMCSA shares have jumped (albeit not quite as firmly) on the prospect of its ownership of TWC. What's interesting - and perhaps telling - is the fact that not only have CHTR shares not soared in the wake of what would normally be viewed as good news, but Charter shares have actually stumbled heading into the possible bidding war. Might this be an omen of what's actually in store for Charter Communications?

Who's losing?
Even though it has multiple revenue sources, I was a bit discouraged to discover that CBS (NYSE: CBS ) came in dead last among TV respondents, garnering less than 0.5% of the vote. Despite the poor showing among respondents, CBS must be doing something right with its other mediums (i.e., CBS Sports Network), because its first-quarter revenue and EBITDA were both records. - [By Ben Levisohn]
So yes, Disney is a Buy, and DiClemente’s $90 price target suggests another 19% of upside from yesterday’s close, though it should be noted he also likes CBS (CBS), Twenty-First Century Fox (FOXA) and Discover Communications (DISCA).

Investors appear to agree. Shares of Disney have gained 2.1% to $68.54 at 2:02 p.m., joining a strong-performing group of stocks today. CBS Corp (CBS) has advanced 2.3% to$58.20, Twenty-First Century Fox (FOXA) has risen 2.9% to $33.75 and Comcast (CMCSA) is up 1.7% at $48.06.
